This is another great location for fishing. We adore the stunning views of the mountains and river at 2nd Dam. Wind Cave is a wonderful hike, but it is considerably longer with an uphill trek, so it may not be an ideal option for young children. The grotto, which is actually more of an exposed archway, is amazing though, and a great welcome spot to rest after the hike.

One of the reasons we travel this route so often is to visit Bear Lake. When you reach Limber Pine Path, you are just a couple of mins from vibrant blue Bear Lake.
Make sure to visit Logan National Scenic Byway, specifically when fall colors are on display. At the highway summit, you can enjoy an amazing view of blue-green Bear Lake.
